                Cruz Sr. Is delusional. Why would Regis go 60/40 with a fighter from a lower weight class that doesn't have a belt or a top name win. Cruz would get bludgeoned and he knows it, so he's basically saying he's willing to take an ass whooping for a big check.

                  Surely the only way there'd be "purse split" discussions is if Cruz' promoter is going pay for the fight?

                  If Prograis promoter approach Cruz it'll be for a set fee for the fight, what Regis gets is up to them.
