Devin Haney and Vasiliy Lomachenko have a date for their lightweight title fight. Promoter Bob Arum informed BoxingScene.com that Haney-Lomachenko likely will take place May 20. Their 12-round, 135-pound championship match will headline either an ESPN or ESPN Pay-Per-View show.

Super great news! Where it is going to be is nearly only for the boxing business. I don’t care if they fight in a chicken coop

Should Lomachenko win I think he retires. He set out for this at the start of his career and seeing usyk do it is likely why he’s continued boxing despite the ongoing war. Nothing against Haney but I’d love to see Loma do it for his country, they could use the win.

Maybe loma could have some xtra movitation whole deal with war going on in Ukraine and being considered an underdog against haney.

I knew that Bob would bend to Loma's wishes over his undisputed champion, Haney. More motivation for Haney to put the beats on him. Devin begged for March, but I'm just glad that its going to happen. Man, Arum loves him some Loma.
