on the cards he did, most people had Ryder clearly winning that fight, either way, Fielding did very well for himself

It's uncool to down this guy and mock his career. I dont recall him ever saying he was anything other than what he was. He's a good boxer who made the most of what he had.
Enjoy your retirement from boxing .

It’s because children rush in to bag on a prize fighter because they have this hatred towards one of the best in the game today that happened to fight Fielding. Maybe it’s jealousy over a lifetime of failures in their own lives that causes one to spew diarrhea from the mouth? Maybe it’s a cuck fantasy? Who knows…..it’s pretty pathetic and is one of the sole reasons our great sport is dying. It’s “jealousy laden” diatribes on full display.

Fielding made a good accounting of himself and I hope he enjoys retirement

I think he could have knocked out Harry Greb, to be honest. A 1st ballot Hall of Famer if there ever was one. Canelo always selected the best fighters. Rocky Fielding, a fighter for the ages. BWWAHHAHAHAHA
I hear what you're saying but did anyone ever think Rocky Fielding would reach HOF status or even world title holder status? Give the guy a break. He wasn't supposed to accomplish much in the sport and achieved more than most pro boxers. Are you an expert in your field? Will you be remembered when you retire? If not, you should probably just keep quiet.

Well, I'm no Canelo lover, and I've bagged on fighters like Yldrim. But I'm not gonna do it as they announce their retirement is my thing. Seems wrong.

Yeah, the fact is he achieved more than 99.99% of fighters that ever stepped foot in a gym. 99.7% of pro’s don’t get anywhere near his level either, when you take into account all the journeymen in the game. There’s currently over 1300 active super middleweights now, to put things into perspective.

He just wasn’t really good enough for the very, very top level of the sport, but very few are. In the grand scheme of things when you look at boxing from the bottom the top, he still went very high up in the game.

I think people should remember that sometimes. How many of people on this forum can say they are in the upper echelons and in the top few % of the industry they work in ?

This isn't about me. This is about The Great Rocky Fielding, one of the best British punching bags of modern times

Can't believe Canelo actually enforced a rehydration clause for this bum.
