Comments Thread For: 'Bozy' Ennis Reacts To Rashidi Ellis Upset Defeat: "He Slowed Down"

All signs pointed to a budding rivalry between Rashidi Ellis and Jaron "Boots" Ennis. With both fighters sharing the spotlight this past weekend on the undercard of Gervonta Davis vs. Hector Luis Garcia, they fulminated during the lead-up, leaving many to believe that a showdown between them was a matter of when, not if, it will take place. Well now wait a minute Bozy. NSB said that Ellis didn't lose, didn't slow down, it was a blowout, dominant win over Villa, etc. What the hell?

He did slow down but the tactics in the last round was the worst advise. I thought Ellis had enough rounds in the bank but seeing how he was getting hit when he slowed down should had him fighting the last round much safer than they sent him out to do.

Boots and Ellis shoulve fought and Villa shouldve fought Karen. Now they both just screwed up the hype.

He won every round? How, cause he followed around a Karen and looked lost? Did booty even land a significant punch?

Poor Rashidi! Talking all that smack, and got broken down by Villa! I would like to see Ugas vs. Villa. I wanna see what Ugas has left in the tank! If not Ugas vs. Villa, then Ugas vs. Crowley!

LOL, I didn't say a blowout, but he definitely won at least 8 or 9 rounds, too many points to get robbed by a fighter that had a good closeout. If Ellis didn't get up, fine, but he did. His hand should have been raised for all of his previous work throughout the fight.
