Don't recall him ever holding 2 titles, but he was high-risk low-reward then and at the time he was stuck in the WBSS. Now he's just a high-risk low-reward for the others even with the belt now. Aside from Puello being the weak link of the titleholders and assuming Matias grabs the IBF belt next month, all these young dudes at 140 doing all that talking are going to hafta go thru hell one way or another to be a champion.Comment

Completely disagree with casuals opinions that fighters need to move up and down to secure their legacy to get bolig fights or secure their legacy. Hagler fought at 160 for his whole career and is one of the greatest ever. If you’re that good or that dominant you don’t need to move. I can see Bivol staying at 175 for his whole career. In the lighter weights people do move up more often as they mature. Doesn’t happen so much beyond 160/175. Taylor, Prograis, Spence, Lopez all big for their weight as they’ve been young enough to get away with it. You get older your capacity to cut weight and jumping divisions reduces - Spence moving to light middle. Your advantages reduce, you’re no longer special for the division. This is what teo found out. Others such as Pacquiao, Loma, Mayweather, Inoui can just jump up and up as they have much more in every department, that’s what makes them truly special. Prograis is probably the best fighter at 140 now but isn’t quite in that class of fighter. Great speed and light on his feet but missing a bit of rhythm and timing. Taylor has declined. The Catterral fight wasn’t an anomaly. I think Catterral beats him comfortably this time around.Comment
