All the sanctioning belts are manipulated and paid for by the promoters, networks and managers. As rules are changed and champions manufactured the belts become calcified in the hands of the highest bidder. Sanctioning bodies (Belts) are no longer the great equalizer, they've morphed into a simple middleman skimming money off the top.

Based upon resent performance... Regis Prograis has earned his spot as the most dangerous 140lb fighter on the planet....bar none. More over, based upon performance alone, Zepeda would be a solid #2A and Ramirez 2B with Taylor on the down side (Reason why everyone wants to fight him) lucky if he can beat any top 5 Jr Welterweight. Frankly, if Taylor gets past Catterall and fight either Zeppeda, Ramirez or Progais Taylor he gets knocked out.... Coming from a Josh Taylor .

The lack of competitiveness in boxing is disgusting.

Only fighters looking to fight the best are those with no names on their resume. Then once they add one name on their resume, they too lose their competitiveness.

Idk how boxing even exists anymore.

you would think with logan, jake paul and all these youtubers creeping into their territory and taking some of that ppv pie that top pro fighters would engage more to stop that nonsense instead,

          its gotten worse.

Ramirez has fought all of the best fighters in his division. Except for Prograis. He just wants his due now, and is not going to fight for short money. He is towards the back end of his career, and needs to close out strong money wise. He has never ducked anyone before. Look at his record. They simply did not offer enough money.

His team didn't counter the offer. They just said "No" to 35 percent. Why not try for 40 percent? He didn't have the belt. How much did he think he should get? They absolutely didn't want the fight.

Arum gets a pass for his In House sh^t I see which he Invented it!

Arum kept things in house between Pacman, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito too when HE had control of the Welterweight Division, people forget that and for Mosely and JMM to get their shots I think they had to sign with Top Rank if I remember correctly at least a option

Ramirez doesn't get a pass for Ducking out on Prograis though I don't want to hear about Split, if Chon Zepeda would've beat Prograis no question he taking that fight

Like I said, I won't knock his hustle, as long as he doesn't say, "I only want to fight the best!" Commey and Teofimo Lopez are NOT the best!

Correct me if I'm wrong someone please. But did he not get his ranking put above Lopez via a judge. Then chooses the WBC path. Now he doesn't want that and is going to try to get above Lopez again? Is he gonna sweet talk the judge again?
