This really needs a decent undercard, something like Boots or Charlo as coheadliner. The hype will crank up when the promo starts ramping up, say what you want about Thurman but he knows how to sell a fight. Factor in the bad blood between the two and this could crack 400-500k.

You would to execute Charlo's other mandatory, Fundora, possibly to do anything close to those number. Maybe Charlo v Harrison III. Ennis does nothing for the card.

I’m pretty sure Ennis brings in hype especially as a potential future Spence opponent. The last card had huge interest on Boots even as Tank being the headliner. Albeit that performance might have sizzled the hype a bit.

What other high profile fights is boxing providing?

I bought Tank vs Garcia, i’ll buy Tank vs Ry, Spence vs Thurman.

Who I won’t support are guys like Crawford who fights nobodies, and the running, hugging jabber Devin Haney.

Otherwise if it’s two guys that will come to fight, yeah i’ll buy it. I don’t see why Spence vs Thurman won’t feature some bombs being thrown and probably a really competitive, fun fight to watch.

What else is there to buy in 2023? Canelo fights, Fury-Usyk, Wilder-Ruiz? Maybe Crawford finds his balls and fights Spence? Who knows. But I don’t think there will be much. Might as well buy whatever good fights are being sold.
