"Split aside, a Prograis-Ramirez fight was probably never realistic because Top Rank refuses to do any business with Probellum, Prograis’ promoter. Top Rank boss Bob Arum stated earlier this year that his company would not work with any entity that had ties with alleged Irish drug cartel kingpin Daniel Kinahan, of which Probellum, Arum said, was one."
Which is why we will not see Prograis vs. Teofimo Lopez either. Teo Sr. knows this, which is why he can pop s--t, knowing that fight won't happen! Lipinets or Ergashev! Pick one! MAN UP!Comment

And you think Ramirez is the next De La Hoya or Canelo?Comment

The problem with Ramirez is that he's " locally famous " , just because he sells in his hometown he thinks that people outside of his hometown will react the same way. I got news for you Ramirez , no one outside of hardcore boxing fans know who you are , and most of us don't give a flip about you either way. Like Janet Jackson said , with her fine self , " What have you done for me lately "....a big fat NADA. Regis is the A Side and he's got the belt.Comment

Is TR a co-promotor cause almost every fight of zepeda's I've seen was on ESPN. What about Inoue vs butler? Isn't butler probelum? Doesn't fury have connections to kinahan and Bob doesn't seem to have a problem with him. I could b wrong but it seems like he uses it as an excuse when it's convenient for him and ignores it when he stands to profit from it.Last edited by Joe shmo; 01-10-2023, 09:27 PM.Comment

Yes he would, because Prograis knows he'll win the fight. But Ramirez...Zapeda fondled him a bit, then he lost his ******ity to Taylor, but he wants good money if he's to be anally probed by Prograis.Comment
