Any chance it happens in Russia? Could be a fun atmosphere for the fight if they could put it in a big arena in Russia. But if the media would use that as an excuse to push more political programming into their sports programs, then it's not worth it to me.

It will happen after the Yarde fight
Both fighters wanted it badly especially Beterbiev
He’ll fight Yarde , then enjoy Ramadan and July-August the fight can take place

Id prefer to watch this than SPence v Bud. I think id like to see fury v usyk more though.

For the sake of boxing, this fight needs to be in the cards for this year. Canelo isn’t a factor at 175 and wasn’t competitive enough to warrant a rematch with bivol. He can take himself back to 168 and face Benavidez while Bivol and Beterbiev fight at msg where there’s a large Russian population. That’s what boxing needs.

I think Fast Eddie might block it, unless Bivol bows down to Cinnabon's wishes and gives him the rematch first. Even though Hearn knows that Ginger would take a serious beating, it ensures Fast Eddie of 2 huge events for 2023, and maybe 3 if the Serrano-Taylor rematch actually gets locked in.

Although I really want to see this fight, I would prefer the Spence-Crawford fight because it opens up some many avenues and answers all of the questions.
