I also told you Ennis performance was going to be dependent on how well he can cut off the ring didn't I?? Look how that went. Swinging at air,single power punches at a time,couldn't cut off the ring, got countered by lefthooks and didn't appear capable of making any mid fight adjustments. That guy isn't wrecking any elite level fighter just yet,let alone Vergil lol!

The good thing is, Vergil isn't elite. Far, and I mean far like a continent away, from it. He has a nice jab and good power, but other than that doo doo. His defense is horrible, as zero power Mckinson showed before he gassed, his footwork is nonexistent, and he can only fight on the front foot. Stanionis is similar but better at it.

Boots switches orthodox to southpaw, very fast hands, great power, elite athleticism, fights or boxes as needed, good footwork, needs to improve on defense and cutting off the ring, but he's levels above Vergil.

I'm sure if Crawford or Spence had their choice on who to fight first, they would be licking their chops for the plodding Ortiz.

Far from new to it, more like use to do it. You have the nerve to call Boots one dimensional when Ortiz can only fight on the front foot coming forward. Boots fights orthodox and southpaw, counters on the back foot or aggressively attacks on the front, good footwork, great reflexes and timing, and is an elite athlete. Ortiz isn't close to that level with his heavy footed, stalking style. He eats a hundred punches from softies because he has terrible defense, wait until he tries to eat a few from Ennis.
