Comments Thread For: Brandun Lee Stops Huge Underdog Diego Luque In 4th Round On Davis-Garcia Undercard

WASHINGTON - Brandun Lee methodically dismantled Diego Luque on Saturday night. The hard-hitting junior welterweight contender stopped his overmatched opponent in the fourth round of a fight that was scheduled for eight rounds on the Gervonta Davis-Hector Luis Garcia undercard at Capital One Arena. The 23-year-old Lee didn't drop the Argentinean veteran, but referee Kenny Bayless halted the action at 2:55 of the fourth round because Luque took numerous unanswered punches that prompted his trainer to throw in the towel.

He gets hit to easily I don't see him doing any damage at 147 as it seems he can't make 140 since he's always having catchweight fights.

You are what you eat. Keep fighting overmatched opponents and you'll become an overmatched opponent.

It is criminal to be fighting a guy who is 0-7-1 in his past eight fights!! This should have been banned from taking place!!

Was high in this dude a couple years back. Bringing him up too slow though. Really hasn’t shown much progression.

These fights will not help him progress. He had a fight that he got knocked down and he boxed to victory. He had to keep stepping it up from there.
taking all these weak opponents will make him worst, not better.
