I got free tickets to the demolition job on lamont by lucas, one of those embarrassing nights for the sport where the IBF world title holder gets brutalised but keeps his belt because it was laughably a non title fight at 1 pound above 140 because of politics involving lucas wanting to keep his interim wbc title which made him mandatory for garcia which made no sense because surely he would have still gotten the garcia fight if he had won the ibf title.
I wish lamont the best though, I won big on his controversial decision win over Amir Khan.
I am very surprised he came back, would be a shame if he needed the money, he was involved in many big fights, I even saw him on the undercard of Khan vs maidana, against the tree Victor ortiz, Decent little fight.Comment

Yea man,always respected the guy for his humble,blue collar worker type of attitude. I still can picture his grit/heart on his face when he got up from that devastating lefthook him and Lucas exchanged. Took everything in him to get up from that shot.

Was shocked to see him on the card and coming back down at 140, thought he'd get through this and then it would end badly with a step up, instead it ends badly now. Hopefully he now realizes the sport has passed him by, please stay retired LamontComment
