Totally agree.
Cotto was out of character by having to stick and move as opposed to seek and destroy during the Margarito Match.
Mayweather has mastered stick and move and slick boxing....he would embarrass and blow out Margarito. decision.

An interesting fight this would be.... Margarito I think could defintly put the pressure on Floyd and break him down with body shots, he'll get tagged a lot, but Floyd does not have the punching power to hurt Margarito. When a guy name Ricky Hatton put pressure on Floyd, it gave Floyd headaches. The one thing that makes the differnce is Hatton could not with stand Floyds punch --Margarito will have no problem shoeing those punchs off like flies. Margarito size wise and power wise I think will also have the advantage. He'll also have to use it to it's fullist advantage to bully Floyd into the ropes to work on the body and score a few of those lethal uppercuts. One thing he can not afford to do is let Floyd keep the fight in the middle of the ring. Which if I know Margarito he'll press the action all the way, and if he can tie Floyd up in the ropes and get in the inside with some good combinations to the body with some of those uppercuts .... I think it's possible for him to put Floyd away in the later rounds. It won't be pretty, but I think he can do it.

The reason why Floyd was bothered by Hatton is because Hatton has athletic feet and believe it or not, is good at cutting off the ring. Margarito is a slow plodder. The only way I see this fight being competitive is if Floyd injured his hand early in the fight similar to the way that Clottey supposedly did. Floyd wins this, but he would have to work for the win I believe.

floyd-margarito would look exactly like floyd baldomir, who ever actually thinks margarito has a chance of beatin floyd must be on pcp and as far as hatton giving floyd problems didn't the majority of people only give hatton 1 round

Not that I think Margarito shoulde ever be given the chance to box anyone again, but for the sake of the post I'll say this...Margarito's chin is not Iron or anything similar to it. Mosely proved that, and also exposed the long believed theory that Phsycologically, advantages had, like bricks in your gloves, can up the endorphines in a man's system, giving him extra adrenaline, which in turn can make one impervious to certain amounts of pain. Go figure, he looked so down hearted when the ref was telling them to touch gloves before the Mosely fight, and I'm almost certain it was because his confidence was shot to ****.
