  • Comments Thread For: Rashidi Ellis: "Nobody Want This Action, Nobody Want This Smoke"

At first gaze, it becomes incredibly difficult to take your eyes off Rashidi Ellis. The stinging power, superb defense, and of course, ridiculous speed, allowed the 29-year-old to rack up a spotless record through 24 career bouts.

Ellis gotta be careful. Villa has fought no one of note, but from what I have seen - to quote an old zen master - he kicks like a fùcking mule, and he's rather quick himself.

I would not be surprised if a huge upset happened here.

Never seen him - but whenever I see an "unknown" Columbian pop up on TV like this, I always assume the bold. Now I'm interested,

Look at the beginning of round 2. If the same happens with Ellis, I don't know, but no one thought Maidana would do what he did to Broner at the time...

Ellis is brash. There are lots of good fighters at Welterweight ... who won't be intimidated by him. I'm sure there will be a chin-check or two out there for him.

If he defeats either of Ortiz, Stanionis, Ennis, Spence, Crawford, Ugas, I'll be surprised .... and give him his due.

Turned down Ortiz and Ennis over purses.

Aw man, see Speedy is always dictating the fight because it's HIS fight, he's in control. That's who Speedy is. He'd outpoint Ugas big cause he's too slow. He'd box circles around Ortiz kind of the same. Stanionis has nice skills and the balls of a brawler with a great body attack so I think he would check what Ellis is about. Crawford might be a lot closer than people think. Spence might have success with volume. Ennis might be unbeatable - possibly. But Villa looked like a scary dude when I saw him. Just saw him once.

Yeah I got Speedy with the win. Villa might have to get dirty.

Legit happy to see Speedy getting the Coverage and the Media Attention he deserves FINALLY!

Damn where was all this when he was with GBP, people barely spoke of him or even covered him

No Doubt his Talent match up with Boots and some of these other fighters people are hyping, he is 1000% in that Mix of the Next Generation of Welterweights: Boots, Vergil, Stanionis, Speedy... Division might be better once Spence and Crawford Fight of F^ck Off already

That being said, I don't think people are ducking, it just need to make "Sense" and "Cents" to take that Risk it is Business at the same time he can't ask for a lot to fight Boots when neither have establish themselves as a Stand Alone Draw
