Whoever at management thought that it was going to sell even moderately did not do their homework. Wilder is not a household name and fighting an unknown to the masses on his comeback was not ppv material.

good. NOw lets hope the rest of these ****ty ppvs this year bomb too. It's getting ridiculous. I'm from a time in which only the big big fights were ppv, now we have Charles martin vs Luis Ortiz headlining ppvs.

Assuming the numbers are true (and that's an open question), we learned two things.

        1. Nobody knows who Helenius is, and the few that did, already knew what was going to happen.
        2. Despite #1, Wilder who was returning from 3 ass whoopings and some strange psychadelic purge still drew more buys than Crawford.

Damn it don't let Eddie Hearn see this, now he's going to offer Deontay a contract with 90 - 10 split in favor of AJ and the fight will get canceled again.

True if the numbers stay accurate but if it was a moderate success they would have been announcing it.

I am in supporting boxing but I don't supports events like this one. If people do they will continue to charge extras for these types of events that should be no where on PPV.

I did pay for the Prograis/Zepeda because that was an intriguing fight.

Wilder should have fired his management team like 10 years ago

Imagine having all KO record of cans yet having legit ATG maybe even GOAT power

He has been mismanaged HORRRIBLY. If Eddie Hearn can turn a glorified bodybuilder into a star imagine what he could do with a basketball player?

And I’m sure you’ll still have posters on here making the argument Wilder deserves 50% and the 12.5 million dollar initial offer in 2018 was a lowball. .
