People are funny that way, Dom. They talk about people they hate more than the ones they love.

I mean look at all those shows on Hitler. Frickin history channel will have hours of stuff on hitler and nobody liked him.

You're a fan of Floyd though

People genuinely want to see Floyd knocked out, and they feel that they can't miss it so they pay money in hope that they can see history

Its amazing what an undefeated record mixed with some trash talk can do

Like J said, people are ****** like that, its a waste of money

:haha1: so you're admitting that the general public then knows better that Floyd is the best and the biggest draw since they obviously bought his fight?

"Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mayweather’s destruction of Hatton in December of 2007 did over 900,000 PPV buys, some tens of thousands more, it would appear, than did Pacquiao’s destruction of Hatton a few weeks ago."

Floyd/Hatton owned Pacman/Hatton. How do you explain that?

I guess you're right. The general public knows who is better.

i compared the 2, b/c if you go back and check the posts, somebody was trying to be funny by saying floyd is a draw b/c he fights top competition like margarito, clottey, and shane..........an obvious reference to cotto....

so i responded by saying, cotto, to me, lost 2 of those 3 fights....your post, i thought u insinuated that floyd only did well, IF the ppv #'s i'm hearing are accurate, b/c it was his return bout....so i responded by saying, if cotto retired, and came back, he wouldn't do high numbers....

basically i meant, floyd is a draw now....retirement or not. the cotto reference wasn't to you, it was to the cotto nuthugger trying to be funny.

I will just say that this was one of themost higly promoted fights in a while and also the coming out of retirement fight. Will see if he maintains it down the road. He's no Oscar on the money tip.
