This situation is ridiculous, but it should sort of end this year I guess. Ennis is probably the best - or most naturally talented - fighter on the planet. He would batter Crawford because Bud is small whereas Ennis is starting out at welter. He would destroy Spence as well, for pretty much the same reason. Remember the trouble Brook gave spence. It is ridiculous how a few fighters and promoters can run boxing like a cartel monopoly.

After Ennis stopped Clayton in his last fight he looked Spence in the eyes standing in the ring and called him out. Of course Spence had zero response. Ennis has called for these fights multiple time and got nothing in response. The closest thing I can recall is Thurman saying he's never heard of Ennis knowing damn well that's a lie a red hot young gun in your weight class he knows who he is. They all do and it seems they are avoiding him for 1 reason or the other.Comment

Regurgitated nonsense. Ennis and his dad can simply pull the IBF petition since it is not set in stone yet and initiate a WBO mandatory Oscar has officially removed Ortiz from the #1 position. They are not with Haymon so he isn't stopping them. Crawford is a free agent and Ennis he has no fanbase so he should be available to leave Showtime for one fight if they don't have the money for Crawford. BP is still working with Crawford and I'm hearing they are interested in Crawford vs Prograis possible catchweight. No one would cry if the Ennis (around that 30 fight mark now like Wilder when he was asked to face Vlad) and his dad call for the mandatory. Crawford is cake so why not, old like Beterbiev but it's hard to tell when either will actually age during a fight so the risk of fighting them is still off the Richter scale.
