Boxingscene is a CBS/PBC website. So they are going to report every single thing said by every Tom, **** and Harry that promotes Spence and Ennis. And they’re going to report everything said by every barber, plumber, mechanic and wino that demotes Crawford. Its not a coincidence that yesterday there was an article here promoting all of Derrick James’ excuses for why the fight with Spence and Crawford won’t happen and how Crawford deserves even less than he was offered before based off nothing but conjecture. And its not a coincidence that today this article quoting a person who represents another PBC fighter saying that Spence is the better welterweight than Crawford based off of the fact that Spence holds more belts appears here. The reality is that Spence has avoided Crawford for years. He’s fought other good fighters along the way but it’s something about Crawford that he obviously doesn’t want to see or deal with in the ring. PBC has carefully constructed a monopoly on title opportunities in the welterweight division. Kudos to Al Haymon for being the best at scheming. But because there is a particular opponent for Spence that the PBC business scheme has plotted to avoid for so long in Crawford, with all that Crawford has achieved by being a three division world champion, Spence needs to prove he is the best by fighting and defeating his nemesis. He can’t continue to come up with business schemes and excuses to avoid facing him or he has not proven that he is the best in any weight class that Crawford is also in. It doesn’t matter how much influence PBC and Al Haymon have over the boxing media to try to control perception. All of that is losing steam and regular fans/people are starting to see through it en masse. No more articles with biased quotes from self interested parties, no more excuses and no more monopoly avoidance schemes altogether in this Terence Crawford vs PBC media drama. Put up or shut up Al Haymon. Put up or shut up PBC. Put up or shut up Errol Spence.

I don't agree with your conspiracy theories at all, first, Boots isn't a PBC fighter. Spence called Bud out and wanted to beat him for his strap to be the undisputed champion, how is that avoiding him? Crawford ran away to fight a sparring partner for a big check. The truth is your kryptonite.

“Right now, I think Spence is,” said Bozy to BoxingScene.com when asked who’s the best fighter at 147 pounds currently. “The reason why I think Spence is because he has three of the belts.”

Spence, the current IBF, WBA, and WBC welterweight belt holder, is hoping that one day soon, the rest of the world will share the same belief as Bozy. Just a few short months ago, the powerful southpaw was completely convinced that a showdown against Crawford was essentially a guarantee.

His initial thoughts, of course, were proven wrong, as Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs) abruptly left the negotiating tables, opting to instead take on David Avanesyan, a fringe contender he would ultimately stop in the sixth round on December 10th.

Perturbed by what he considers were shady actions on Crawford’s part, Spence (28-0, 22 KOs) has revealed that he’ll return to the ring at some point in April with Keith Thurman leading the early charge.

As Bozy begins to sift through Spence’s stellar resume, his mouth opens wide in astonishment. While he respects Crawford and all that he’s done, the renowned trainer views Spence’s victories over the likes of Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, and most recently, Yordenis Ugas, as the final indicator that the 32-year-old resides at the top of the welterweight mountain.

Bozie Ennis has to say this so that no one will ask him why he's not going after the more dangerous Crawford instead. He knows his son has clear advantages over Spence. In his heart, he doesn't feel the same way when it comes to Crawford.

Because he beat Danny,Porter and Ugas whom have never beat anyone of note at 147 and whom just happenedto be aligned with the same promoter? Really? How far the bar has fallen smh. And if those guy were the measuring stick,lets go with a common oppent. One guy recieved as much as he gave and the other knocked Porter the fuch out!? And save the "Porter was retiring doe" nonsense. He has his opinion but mine is,I think it's clear these 2 are neck and neck but until they step in the ring against one another we"ll never know who the better of the two is. Doubt this fight even comes off to be honest so it's all moot anyways,whatever......
