‘He Doesn't Have Power, I Hit Like A Strong Cruiserweight’
So says the less than elite competition that he has faced, and his baby's momma.
Yap, yap, yap, let's see some of that power before you turn 35 against some truly elite competition.
Tank is a monumental talent, but his net-worth is just barely over 2 million dollars.
What has Mayweather and PBC been telling him all this time, and why?
Where will his career be in another year or 2?
In the Tank, that's where.Comment

Same can be said about Davis, be honest who has he been an underdog against other than against Pedraza, so realistically "who has he beat that he shouldn't have, really! no household names to me just basic MF'ers he should have beat."
He's feasting on Mexicans and his promotional outfit(s) are tricking naive fans with the secondary title BS, until he fight some real names at 35 himself he's "done absolutely nothing" just like Shakur.

Shakur beats Tank - which is why the fight never happens. Shakur has been built properly in the pro ranks, matched against a better variety of opponents at the right time. It'll continue the trend of Top Rank fighters beating PBC fighters - more than 90% of the time, the TR fighter wins.
Whereas Tank's resume is full of lower quality opposition, and even then he was giving up rounds to an inexperienced prospect like Rolly Romero.Comment

“Why [is Stevenson] talking like he's the best? He didn't even fight at 135 yet. He didn't even have power at 126 or 130 or none of that,” Davis told Luke Thomas of the Morning Kombat.
I agree with Tank here! To call the division overrated is disrespectful for a guy who hasn't even fought in the division yet! The fact that Pitbull & Zepeda have already swerved him does kind of help his argument, but until he fights a Top 5 LW, he might want to calm down just a bit.Comment

you obviously can’t see because his wins are devastating where as Shakur has look boring as *** even to former fighters such as myself. I’m speaking of the look and Gervonta has fought heavier also and is a very small dude but won against a Jr Welterweight in devastating fashion so next time you want to compare check your facts! Shakur doesn’t even try to look for a ko or show signs of being aggressive at all, just good defense and solid composure. That’s it!

I don’t keep up with all the politics of it but history shows the top American talents sometimes don’t want to fight each other in recent times.Comment

Kev - we’ll know a little bit more after he fights Ryan and Shakur. I think Tank is a very good fighter, but his resume is pretty pedestrian to be honest. His biggest win would arguably be Pedroza , who is a darn good fighter, but also far from a great fighter. I’m glad Davis seems to be stepping up his opposition and if he follows through on these two fights after Saturdays fight you have to give him his props.
We all know why he has never fought Loma. Of course he will now.
His power is NOTHING to a real boxer with decent power.
