Comments Thread For: Gervonta Davis - Table Set For a Big 2023?

By Cliff Rold - There's no doubt Baltimore's 28-year old lightweight contender and former Jr. lightweight titlist Gervonta Davis (27-0, 25 KO) is a star. His ticket sales from coast to coast are all the evidence anyone needs of that.

This isnt rocket science. Beat Garcia Saturday, beat Ryan then fight Haney assuming he beats Loma.

Problem is that means he eventually needs to fight Shakur anf Frank Martin and I dont think he beats either.

That’s some big assuming there. I’m gonna assume Ryan sleeps tank in 3, Loma makes haney’s dad throw in the towel in 9.

Ryan could win. Agreed. Will not be easy for either guy.

All you need to do is look at how Bob is trying to stall the Haney v Loma fight to gauge your prediction.

Frankly, if Bob and the matchmakers thought Loma would win, their business history shows Bob would have made the fight and gotten Loma an easy payday a while ago.

The problem will be the big, fast, dangerous guy standing across him April 15,not Shakur or Martin.

Yes the Garcia fight will be tough for both. could be his Chavez (Taylor) or it could be his Corrales (Floyd).

I am looking forward to it.

Tank - Broner at 147 would be great.
