See this is why I leave the site. People put their own personal emotional bull**** in their arguments rather than facts. Ok if the fight sold 1 mill. Why is that Marq has never sold ANYTHING NEAR THAT his entire career even though, as you claim, 95 percent of the buys were because of him?

            No.

Due to the fight's location in the Mexican american heavy southwest, Marq brought the majority of the live gate, Mayweather brought the majority of the PPV. Ppl were talking about him from New York to Chicago.

read it and weep. Though I suppose you wouldn't know about the dynamic of how that happened in the US being that you're from.... where ever the **** you're from

And there is no way in hell Mayweather fights with a 80/20 split.

                      classic.

Tell you what kid. I was in downtown Chicago on fight night, and the fight was a very common topic of discussion. And most casual fans were rooting for, you guessed it, Mayweather. They cheered at the knockdown..and at the ring bell ending the match. They booed Kellerman, and cheered Mayweather when he took the mic.

I talked to a friend in New York and it was much the same scene over there.

People just didn't want to lug their asses all the way to Nevada for a tune up fight, but they still tuned in. alot of them.
