Comments Thread For: Chukhadzian: I'm Not Going To U.S. Just For A Paycheck, I'm Coming To Give A Great Fight

Karen Chukhadzhian is convinced that he will deliver the first big upset of the new year. The streaking welterweight contender from Karlsruhe, Germany by way of Kiev, Ukraine is a massive underdog heading into his interim IBF title fight with Jaron 'Boots' Ennis. It hasn't at all dampened his enthusiasm, however, as he prepares for the dangerous assignment which will mark his U.S. debut.

To elevate rank, you have to reach higher, not step down lower. If highly rated fighters keep fighting downwards maybe their ranking should go lower.

There's a world of difference between "I'm coming to give a good fight" and "I'm going to shock the world and win." I mean even Paul Butler sounded more confident, at least until the first power punch landed. If that's the level of confidence, there's no way we get a good fight.
