Don't know why people continue to put too much into sparring sessions stories. Sparring fighters are working on things and all kind of things can happen.

Sparring is controlled war. If I spark you out in sparring, when we meet professionally or in an amateur tournament, you'll be gunshy. I've seen it happen. A pro we had, there was another pro that kinda ****** from another gym but just had his number, they met in the pro's and dude lost like levels in skill difference. Only people on the outside say sparring is sparring and those on the inside that have said it only say it to hide something bad that's happened to them or someone close to them. It's the ultimate get out of jail free card.

Kronk Gym Wars ruined a lot of professional fighters, facts. Sparring is sparring though smh lol.

Tell that those those that fell under doghouse rules. When I was trainining we had 2 champs in the gym, one used to record his sparring sessions. You know I got copies and seen a lot of people knocked spark out. A lot of those guys got ruined, some hot prospects too only the gods will remember. We went to other gyms for sparring and champ would get paid to knock their prospects out. Everybody knows when you spar at another gym it ain't work no more, it's war. So from someone like you on the outside looking in, just keep parakeeting what you see on youtube and you'll continue to elevate men who actually did it (like myself) from the boys.

So many people that post here that DKSAB, it's crazy!

Finally someone reasonable enough to know how it works.
Thing is, I remember they asked Floyd about the Spence sparring and he said Spence had success against him when they first sparred since he was rusty being fresh out of jail. He said they had other sessions when he was sharper and he handled him without issue but it was good work.

It was during the sparring when he had to fight Robert Guerrero(south paw). It was a fresh out of prison floyd but still I heard Spence definitely put them paws on Floyd. If you go back and watch footage of Floyd leading to the Guerrero fight he had a black eye. Someone that was at the gym said that Floyd was supposed to spar some one else after Spence but he canceled the rest of sparring that day.

so it obviously was some good work

no-one cares about Floyd doing well in sparring. He didn't sign to fight spence like Pac did at 42 years old. Pac signing to fight spence, that in itself is legendary stuff, Floyd almost knocking spence out in sparring isn't legendary, more myth.

Floyd didn't almost knock Spence out in sparring.
It's clearly Floyd ego damage control.

When you see Nate driving around in a new car you know where the money came from

If 37% ko ratio Ugas can rock Spence like this, Floyd could have stopped him.

Why would Floyd fight a top PBC prospect when he's got his hand in the cookie jar right there with Haymon? Makes zero sense, but almost everything you say doesn't make a lot of sense.

Ugas had Spence rocked, facts. The reason Spence never officially moved into his natural weight of jmw is because he doesn't have the beard for it, facts. That's why he been shrinking down and whoopin on guppies, facts.
How many full fledged welterweights did Floyd stop. He needed Ortiz to drop his guard to put him down with two full shots.

We supposed to believe with headgear and pillow gloves Floyd "almost" stopped Spence yeah ok roll the tape on that one

Most definitely. Floyd jazzed Spence up which is why everyone got hyped for the new talent.

I think people do care about these stories. I do and the video Roadblock posted showed other people inside the indistry do as well. It's not myth, it's true.
