Comments Thread For: Robert Garcia on Joshua-Wilder: Whoever Lands First Will Win The Fight

Veteran trainer Robert Garcia would strongly advise Anthony Joshua to take at least two to three fights before facing Deontay Wilder. Eddie Hearn, who promotes the former two-time heavyweight champion, is very interested in matching his boxer against Wilder, the former WBC champion, at some point in 2023.

I think that sounds about right, that's why Garcia was saying that Joshua should move his training camp to the United State's.

Wilder recover's better than Joshua does when he get's hurt, and he's not stiff like Joshua when he's moving, or punching.
Wilder will knockout Joshua if they ever fight each other, for the very reason's that I've specified.

Even if Joshua land's first, he won't be the landing last!

I hope Wilder knocks Joshua out. My view of him went way up for the way he fought in that third Fury fight.

I expect Wilder to come out looking for the kill. He knows Joshua is a little chinny and cant fight under pressure. We should expect nothing less than Wilder/Stiverne 2....and then AJ off to retirement.

Like most on this board are saying, wilder has more balls than Aj that could be the difference in the fight. If Aj hurts wilder , wilder will at least try to fight and survive. If wilder hurts Aj , even if he can get up he probably will just stay down. Aj, didn’t even try to outmuscle Usyk he sure as hell won’t mix it up with Wilder. He best chance is to try and outbox wilder .
