I know that's true, but to turn down the opportunity to fight Haney for the WBC, when it was right there? Pitbull Cruz and William Zepeda turned down an offer to fight Shakur in a WBC elimination bout, but I bet they would jump at a chance to fight Tank or Ryan Garcia! Neither fighter has a real title! It's just an odd situation!

Seriously doubt that, he's an elite athlete whether people would like to give him credit for it or not. There's a reason that he's able to do a lot of things physically that others can't. Broner never had the athleticism of Tank, though he was a decent athlete with skill and an crazy belief in himself, then he became lazy.

I agree and I think Davis thinks so as well. He is selling the fight on the idea that Garcia will be a real challange.

You don't have to have the greater boxing skills to be the best fighter. Power counts for a lot and if it allows you to beat a better boxer, then you are the better fighter.

You ever watch that show First 48? Oh how many times suspects say "to be honest" and then lie through their teeth.

Davis still fighting lackluster opponents after beating Jose Pedraza for his belt how many years ago now? Pedraza is still his best opponent.

                  Try more like 160.

Hector would probably beat the taste out of Pedraza, he made Colbert like weak and outclassed, and he put on a great performance against a game champion in Gutierrez, and took his strap.

My bad, I forgot about that! At least with Ryan, there's some "he said, she said'" between promoters! This time, just complete silence from Cruz's people!
