Another season of boxing is done. December 31 saw a draw in the final big fight of the year but the twelve rounds along the way were an entertaining conclusion to the year. Kazuto Ioka and Joshua Franco didn't result in some title unification at Jr. bantamweight, but they gave it a hell of a shot. It was a solid end to a year that should be appreciated for what it was.

Good list especially with the "ranked" change.

Don't know that I agree with the order, but the list itself is very good.

It does - it helps the "smaller guys" get more recognition for their accomplishments than has been the case, and it nullifies the 'eye test' nearly perfectly.

Thanks. And yeah, this is imperfect but I think it’s a good snap shot of activity relative to weight class(es) and tries to cut through some of that eye business
