    Whats the Purpose of Pound for Pound lists???

    They are a ****in joke......

    The best fighters in the world are Heavyweights......

    So people saying floyd/pacman/anderson silva/gsp etc.... are the best fighters/boxers in the world need to shut the **** up....

    Well that's an interesting perspective. But there is this thing called weight classes that messes it all up.

    If boxing was just a free for all I would completely agree with your post.

          It really doesn't mean much. Fighters like Fitzsimmons and Canzoneri were called the best pound for pound and Robinson helped make it more popular, but it shouldn't be taken so seriously.

          I guess with all the numerous belts out there and debate over what a "real champion" is, P4P king became more meaningful in the eyes of the public.

              boxing needs to get rid of the ''SUPER'' crap they have in every weight division (exp: super middleweight, super welterweight, super lightweight etc).

              too many weight divisions.

                Aren't they light welter and light middle??? Who the **** calls the super light and super welter?
