Not a great match-up in my opinion. I see Beterbiev charging in like he always does and Bivol very easily avoiding his attacks while scoring with creative angles and speed. They’re not even in the same tier — Bivol is A+, Beterbiev is B+.

    Bivol by UD.

Believe me, Bivol has pop. He’s just not a KO artist. He’s had some nasty stoppages earlier on in his career. He just pops people enough so that they don’t try to bull rush.

He really hurt Zurdo at points and he’s a big dude with solid chin.

I want to see this fight so bad. I think Beterbiev is a dog and will be relentless in his attack. He could hurt Bivol if Bivol has a down moment. But I also think that Bivol is in his prime. He's only 32 and has served two boxing clinics back to back. He's in his prime. If he doesn't slip, I favor him against Beterbiev.

Beterbiev is a bad dude, but I don't think he has the legs to deal with Bivol. The intelligent movement will be the key in a Bivol UD win in a semi-competitive fight. Shame this fight didn't happen right after Arthur unified with Gvozdyk.

Now looks like Bivol is the favorite. It's funny to watch people's opinions change. This seems like a good call, TBH. Bivol's defense is absolutely superb. Should be a really interesting fight if it can be made. Beterbiev has real power, and he's got good skills too.
I think everyone picking Beterbiev was all due to the noise about Joe Smith hurting Bivol in their fight - but honestly that shot was right at the bell and Bivol came out and abused Smith the next round.

People made a much bigger deal out of it than it was.

Its THE fight to make at 175 no doubt, also picking bivol to get the W ,bit more agile and fresher than the canadian monster imo.

We will never know because Beterbiev will keep ducking this fight and hiding under Arum's skirt to prevent it, like he's done before

Neither Beterbiev or Arum want that smoke

Source or just out of your fertile imagination ? Because I've been following Beterbiev since basically day one and I don't remember him ducking anyone... I might be wrong though....
