Broner is saying what he's saying because he's trying to sell his upcoming fight. After this fight is over, he'll be quiet again. He doesn't want any top contender with power. He knows if he steps in the ring with anyone of those types of opponents, his career will be over. He's doing whatever it takes to prolong his career. In order to do this, he'll continue to handpick opponents with no power...and questionable skills.
