eh. I dont think Hatton has been the king at 140 for a while honestly, not since he first moved to WW. the torch already went out and someone else needs to relight it.

I get what youre saying, but Marquez-Hatton is a much more interesting and higher profile match than Hatton-Bradley, imo.

Bradley would smoke Hatton even though he does not hit that hard.

If I was Ricky and I wanted to return I wouldn't be too keen to face Bradley right now. Winnable fight for Hatton but I'd definitely favour Bradley. I know this sounds crazy but Marquez is probably the easier fight.

??? Paulie was the universal no1 contender in the 140 division and peaople here where calling for the fight for like 12 months so hatton could prove he was No1 at 140.

Hell search up some of the Hatton / lazcano threads and see what i mean.

Fight will probably happen in the US, money talks. If malignaggi wasn't brought to england, juan will not.

I don't think so, Hatton could overpower bradley on the inside, and Bradleys precision isn't there.

More importantly Bradley has no power at world level. Powderpuff.

wtf? Malignaggi was nothign near the no1 contender at 140. this is the guy that struggled(and arguably lost) against Ndou and Ngoudjo in back to back fights.

maybe he might have been top 5 on technicality, but not on a performance basis.

all I remember from the Lazcano fight was that Hatton got check hook rocked and the ref wanted to tie his shoe, and people were ticked off about it. pretty good fight though.

I remember a lot of people saying that Hatton was ducking Witter too.

If Hatton came back I doubt he'd want the fight anywhere except England. He won't be bothering about money and JMM is happy for it to be overseas. The fight will still generate huge revenues in England. Just look what the Lazcano fight achieved.

Possibly. it would make money in either country, but the MGM would put up a nice chunk of change for it. This is why Malignaggi was moved from England to MSG, to MGM. Casinos put up a good amount of money. Also I think Juan would stp Hatton, and I would hate to see him beat up in front of his fans.
