Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua: I'll Fight Whoever's Ready, We'll Get Cracking in The New Year!

Former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is very motivated to become world champion for a third time. In June of 2019, Joshua lost his IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO world titles when he was stopped by Andy Ruiz. Six months later, he reclaimed the belts with a dominant twelve round unanimous decision.

Joshua was supposed to fight in november, then december and now march. He doesn't even have trainer at the moment. Hopefully not just one fight in 2023 again

Joshua has the skills, physique, and conditioning to become world champion again. But what’s in question is if whether or not he’s mentally prepared to overcome the obstacles to get to another championship. The Usyk fights took a piece out of him.

Honestly, he just has to fight. I cannot think of a good enough reason that he has only thought twice since 3 times since 2019.

if he doesn’t fight until late Spring or early Summer then at best he may fight one more time again next year, and that is too inactive.

He's done great things for the sport and he's ultimately one of the best fighters in the division and seemingly able to improve fight to fight even at his age, his issues are mental and that can be remedied, ultimately the mind is limitless and you just have to unlock it's potential.

Don't know why people keep doubting him, he maybe not be a great but he's certainly a great in this "modern" era, he'll certainly be a champion again now if he beats a real champion to become a champion is another matter entirely...

He'll follow RJJ plan I believe and fight two puddings then go into a real fight or at least he should follow that plan, don't know why he's mentioning "championship mix" that's 2024 talk.

Good to hear he's changed his mind so quick and wants the 'world championship , 100%'......ready in the New year for whoever is ready. If only he'd have felt this way a few weeks back.

He'll fight whoever's ready, as long as Hearn controls them and they're not a top 5 contender.
