Thurman used to be really good on his feet. He’s been really inactive having only fought one time since 2019 and I would be surprised if he shows up in top form frankly.

If he does turn back the clock I agree he COULD make it competitive. I just doubt it personally. But he is only 2 years older than EJ so who knows what he can do at this point?

Thurman's fights are boring ... and at his age, if he knows he's outmatched at any point in the fight, he will just try not to get knocked out...just like Shane Mosely did against Pacquiao

Spence is older too and not dedicated. I thought Ugas hurt him considerably, Thurman is a great boxer despite his detractors.

I just want them to fight because Im getting sick of all the Thurman talk. Thurman will lose badly and take a 10 count from a shot to the body in the 9th round and then I wont need to hear about him anymore.

Thurman has never been a lover of the sport. He's always been a fan of titles, glory, money, and fame. My comment wasn't designed to knock Crawford in any way.

My comment was designed to state that it's time to give the fans what they want. Thurman has called out Spence before. I do not believe Thurman wins this matchup, but this would be an entertaining bout just because there is bad blood between both fighters.

P.S. Despite Thurman really not being a fan of the sport, he does have a semi impressive record and resume. He beats most of the boxers on Crawford's resume. He actually beat the best boxer on Crawford's resume, Shawn Porter.....in case you wanna be honest.

What was worrisome was seeing Spence at the Martin fight, he looked at least 185 pounds. Thought he wasn’t blowing up like that anymore.

With Spence needing more time due to the car accident, it would behoove Thurman to get a quick fight in , even at a catchweight. Just not against anyone that leads with their head, don't want any bad cuts to sideline him. A tune up to shake off some of the rust and to work on things is a great idea. Keith has been way too inactive in recent years. It would be a big mistake to sleep on Thurman though.
