I wouldn't say bigger than at home that's a hard call with any top international, but I think he has the right materials to do really well in the states, power, exciting fighting style, persona and reputation, and a great nickname The Monster, everything is there for Inoue to be really big in America.

And there lies the problem! Arum isn't going to let Inoue fight on Dazn so, unless there's some level of cooperation given, it will need a purse bid.

Some delusional folks on this site. Your a clown. Bringing up drug testing because you know your boy ain’t on that level in any way. So you got your built in excuse for when Inoue ragdolls fulton easily. I bet you think Fury cheated vs Wilder too huh? That’s a bingo.

Monster vs. Fulton is a 50/50 fight. Mayweather/Gatti was more like 95/5. Poor comparison.

I hate it when champions move up leaving a legacy defining fight on the table. But in this case this reminds me more of how Frampton, LSC and others all moved up to 126 to avoid Rigo. Lets see if MJ has the appetite for a fight with Inoue.

If neither MJ or Fulton relish the contest then I'd applaud Estrada for moving up to 118 and if Bam leapt 2 weight classes like Inoue skipped 112 tht would be incredible.

                  • In boxing, fights usually happen in the location where one of the fighters can draw a big crowd, and Fulton and MJ are are nobodies in America
                  • Inoue is an established and genuine star in his home country and sells tickets / PPVs
                  • When was the last time a fighter from the smaller weights was built into any type of "star" in America, and Inoue doesn't speak English.
Inoue is a genuine "A side" and is arguably the only money man in the lower weights. And it's very unlikely venues (in Vegas) will put up huge site fees for fighters in these smaller weights.

Fulton is fighting for the WBC title at 126, because MJ has mandatories. It would've been nice to see a fight for Undisputed b4 he left. Now let's see if Arum and Hearn will make MJ vs. Inoue.
