Comments Thread For: Gervonta Davis On Hector Luis Garcia And Ryan Garcia: "I Don't Think Either One Of Them Is A Complete Fighter"

As most of boxing's biggest stars are attempting to figure out their 2023 schedule, Gervonta Davis has already lined up the first half of his calendar. First up for the soft-spoken power puncher out of Baltimore, Maryland, will be a showdown against the streaking Hector Luis Garcia (16-0, 10 KOs) on January 7th. Of course, following a banner year, one that included victories over Chris Colbert and Roger Gutierrez, Hector is chomping at the bit.

As if this clown is, he wouldn't be fighting FWs if he had any real belief in his ability.

The younger Garcia has been able to mask his flaws bc of the height and size advantages he's had up to this point. Campbell was tall and long enough to reach him and we saw what happened. Came out with the W, but everybody saw what he had to get through to get it against a guy that's not known as a big puncher. If Davis can reach him and detonates a big shot like the one Campbell landed on him to put him down, he might make his point.

Tank is kind of short to be talking about being incomplete. I'll admit, he boxed Rolly until Rolly brutally assaulted him with his face, but it was nip and tuck until then. His shortness is a built in disadvantage.

At this point in time, Davis is nothing more than an American naseem hamed. He’s a ****er at 9 stone and that’s it.
rolly was well ahead in that fight winning with ease until one nicely picked shot. I also had pit bull earning a draw but not complaint about a robbery.
we’re going to see it sooner or later, he’s had 27 fights and his opponents are not top 5. He’s an exiting young fellah but massive holes in his defensive abilities. I believe FMJ saw that and since then, he’s been kept well clear of any threat. Mark my words, sooner or later because he’s just another big hitter passing through making big money.
