Only Joshua knows what he wants but I'm not sure he's expert on knowing what is right for him, Shane makes sense with his tactics but I think Joshua is damaged now and will never beat the big boys. The first thing a trainer should tell him is to be the best you have to fight the best and that's not Dillian Whyte at Wembley!

That’s exactly what Dazn business plan for the new year is, Joshua vs Whyte 2 PPV £24.99 with a touch of Fabio Wardley and Felix cash on the undercard

Another Amir Khan. How many trainers did that guy go through and typically blame for his losses?

He needs 3 fights with a new trainer fighting c/b level guys. Build up to a Dubois fight then go for a title again
He doesn't have that luxury to take 3 fights with c/b level and then a Dubois fight - not from a business pov. He is in boxing to make money and doing what you suggest would kill his earning power with no guarantee he'll win even the Dubois fight let alone the fight after that. He'll make more money fighting Whyte then, assuming he wins, a Wilder/Fury level guy than if he goes your route - but your route may be better for his chances of reaching a sporting peak.

I don't recall Joshua blaming either McCracken or Garcia for his losses - do you? We're all free to change who we work/associate with. I see it more that Joshua is trying to learn quickly - he likely thinks he has learn't everything that McCracken could teach him and the majority of what Garcia can teach him - so move on and pick another brain. Even though he lost to Usyk again in their 2nd fight that is the best I've seen Joshua fight, taking into account the level of competition.

It was the best Joshua yet , I agree and I think he knew it and knew it still wasn't good enough and that was a main part of the rant.

AJ beats Dubois, even this version but an improved AJ makes light work of DD
They've made a career of fighting c/b level guys & hyping them up. He could fight Arreola, Big baby & whyte. All would sell & all c/b level fights that he wins without the needed adjustments

Joshua is blaming Garcia not by what he is saying but by actively seeking a new trainer. McGuigan is correct. AJ needs to look in the mirror.
