Was watching Mayweather - Chavez and the infighting skills were on another level......don't see American fighters throwing down like this in the pocket.

They're taught differently. A skill set that isn't taught everywhere, continuing a rich tradition.

It's a shame to see inside fighting dying out

I’ve been to a handful of amateur boxing shows

dont remember a single instance of infighting

maybe because longer range shots are easier to see and score

Oh I mean in the pro game.

That amateur style really caught on in the pro ranks to the point where boxers just hold on and don't know how to fight out of a clinch

Crawford, that's why team Spence don't want that smoke. Crawford is probably the best inside fighter in boxing.

Floyd Schofield has shown glimpses, but he mostly fights at midrange....I don't think In-fighting will be difficult for him, it won't be as pretty as Floyd Mayweather's in-fighting skills though.

I also enjoyed seeing Spence go in the pocket towards the end of the Ugas fight

Active I'd say Spence. He was beating Ugas body like a damn drum. Crawford pick/places his shots well on the inside as well but he's not going to sit there and **** it out with you. Not necessarily offensively but Porter was pretty effective at that smothering, ugly ass rugby crap he used to do to disrupt your rhythm and offense.
