back then no one cared about the WBO title. Lonnie Bradley was the WBO champ and had previously fought Grant on TNF a few days before Biggie was killed. I never missed TNF and always had my vhs tape ready. Also, Prior to Bradley vacating the WBO title, he had damn near beat Williams into a coma and was concerned with him as he lay on the canvas with the doctors looking over him. This was when Hopkins, Joppy, and Holmes were champs in the 3-belt era. Joppy and Holmes would have been a big fight for the purists, but the 2 of them just traded words at press conferences(pre social media) and Don King(who promoted them) never made the fight. King purposely waited to do a MW tournament when Tito moved up and still then, the WBO title wasn't considered a major title back then. No one simply cared about it until DlH robbed it from Sturm..
