One thing for sure is that Pac is not a true Welterweight.
If you see these two in person, standing face to face, you can clearly see that they don't belong in the same weight class.
    Cotto is way bigger.

That way of thinking could be their ticket to losing. ****m Richardson said Manny is huge and it is not all bulk. He naturally filled out and is very strong. ****m said most of Pac's opponents think the same way Santiago does and that is the wrong approach to fighting Manny.

They were saying the same thing about Hatton and Pac only five months ago ...

Half an inch and one weight division. Not even a proper weight division (as in one of the original eight), a Jnr weight division. Not even a Jnr weight division, because it's at catchweight.

if pacquiao is a blown up featherweight does that mean he can easily come back down to featherweight

It's not a great win. I don't care what anybody says. Cotto is doing just like Mayweather is by targeting a smaller fighter. That's why if Paul Williams beats Kelly Pavlik he should be ranked way over Cotto. But since Pac is already #1 we know that isn't going to happen. And Cotto should retire like he's talked about doing if he can't beat this midget. Pacquiao is a better fighter, it's just that size matters.

If Pac wins it is a great win of a smaller man beating a bigger man. If Cotto wins he just beat up a blown up featherweight.
