Why is Gervonta fighting Hector Garcia and not Ryan Garcia next?

What’s the word/excuse on the vine? I can’t find nothing. The fighter’s agreed to fight back in early October, the networks in mid November, but Tank is fighting Hector in January, then has a trial in February with possible jail time for hitting a pregnant lady and running from the scene.

To make things worse April 15th is the date being thrown around, which sounds like total bullsht considering it’s within 3 months of his fight with Hector. Nvm the trial.

More I look at it, the dumber Ryan Garcia seems to me. Guy hasn’t fought at 135 since January of 2021, but is promising 136 in god knows when in 2023 and is foregoing staying busy.

Tank vs. R. Garcia is not happening, at least not in April. Now that R. Garcia's ego came into play in effort to defy his promoter, team Tank will be smart to delay the fight.

And to answer your question, I think Tank took the H. Garcia fight to stay in shape.

That's what I have wondered about. I don't know what these silly interim fights for as if they're indestructible. Anything can happen in and outside of the ring. Look at Spence. He figured in accidents twice! Strange the guy still didn't give him sense of urgency. Moral lesson of the story is there is nothing certain tomorrow let alone months, years. That's why this marination thing in boxing is nonsense.

You dangle a nice shiny object high, out in front of your victim, while you use the other to pick thier pockets.

Tank wasn't in shape or ready for Ryan next and has a significant court case come February and now hes inexplicably accusing Ryan of PED use publicly, think about it....

He'd be coming off nearly a year layoff if he went straight to the april Ryan Garcia fight. Plus it's an extra payday.

                  Good question. Makes no sense.

Ryan is a clown who turns down fights anyway and is unprofessional, plus ryan was also set to fight someone else too, clowns. Why would tank believe ryan was ready when ryan's team wasn't even serious about sitting down with pbc to even negotiate when oscar de la hoya was badmouthing pbc at every opportunity he gets instead, which was a dumb move on his part. It is also very sus that ryan is turning down a fight against a bum that he could win. Turning down an obvious winnable fight could also mean that he might be hiding something. Some people don't know how to think I guess. "oh, it's all tank's fault...blah....blah...", stfu your cretins...
