A bit unnecessarily disrespectful fron Atlas. Tbf nobody seems to be in a rush to fight Joyce. Maybe Wilder is brave enough? That chin vs That power.

If Andy Ruiz turned Joshua gunshy and made him lose his confidence then just imagine what Joe Joyce would do to him.Comment

Joe Joyce is a very high risk, low reward opponent for anyone in the heavyweight division at the moment. I have seen about 3 or 4 of his fights. He will make Wilder, Joshua, and any other elite heavyweight look bad. It will take a pure boxer to beat him. Stick and move, jab and right hand along with an uppercut here and there. To stand in front of this guy and trade for any current fighter would be suicide.
Joshua at this point is damaged goods. He is talented and his ego and confidence is severely damaged. He needs a psychologist not a new trainer. Someone like Atlas would be good for him. He would get a two for one package in Atlas. He would learn more about boxing psychology and improve on his fundamentals.Comment

Not that I disagree with Teddy , but damn , he really is insufferable . If anyone loves to listen to Teddy Atlas talk , it's Teddy Atlas.Comment

Hall of Fame trainer Teddy Atlas does not expect former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to ever step in the ring with Joe Joyce. The two boxers sparred countless times when they were amateur stablemates in Team GB.

Old AJ would easily dispatch Joice.Last edited by MONGOOSE66; 12-22-2022, 11:36 AM.Comment

If Joshua wants an eventual shot at Fury, a loss to Joyce kills that opportunity.
I'm one of the few that likes Teddy Atlas' commentary. He can be difficult to listen to, but his opinions make sense. You have to work through the sound of his voice to get there.Comment
