Comments Thread For: Atlas Does Not Expect Joshua To Ever Entertain a Joe Joyce Showdown

Hall of Fame trainer Teddy Atlas does not expect former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to ever step in the ring with Joe Joyce. The two boxers sparred countless times when they were amateur stablemates in Team GB.

Yes, add Joyce to the list of heavies that Joshua won't fight in 2023.

I think it's two easier fights for Joshua first, then the last fight against Fury and retirement

I hope Joyce gets a big fight soon because there's no way he can keep up fighting like that for long at 38yrs old

He needs to be in a big fight within the next year so we can see how they all deal with this terminator

Teddy knows his boxing. Joyce is all wrong for AJ.

Wouldn't be good if Joshua and Hearn with more than enough money in the bank said , Okay next I plan to KO Dillian Whyte again and then at Wembley Stadium in the summer give me Fury , Wilder or Joyce ...but they know the idiots will buy second rate fights and has Atlas rightly says he will never fight Joyce . I say he will never fight Fury or Wilder and has proved me right so far. It may come as a nasty shock to these diehard Joshua fans but unless any of the above look bad or vulnerable in any fights then there is only a chance of fighting that one when there's no one left to mug as a final Swanson cash out retirement fight.Joshua could have done so much more with his career but has taken the Hearn business route and not the fighter. Don't expect it to get any better there's still easy money for him , you've only got to read some posts on here to realise that. It's Joshua who will pay at the end and regret he didn't fight these fights when at his best and know which ever way ,he'd have always been very rich and maybe even more popular in a way he wishes to be seen. I'm bored ...............
