So Okolie was right all along and Hearn was just shelving him for the past 12 months. Scumbag behaviour.
Doesn't this prove Hearn was right, Okolies argument was there was no fight on his contract, his representatives had agreed but he personally hadn't checked what his lawyers had agreed to which would invalidate every boxer's contract. Hearn bought him his belt shot and Sky decided to cash that in (which they will). If Okolie was right he wouldn't have to fight this.

If there’s a fight left on his contract, why aren’t Matchroom enforcing their contractual right to promote this contest then?

Boxxer haven’t won this fight via purse bid. They’ve essentially just negotiated the fight with Team Light on Okolie’s behalf. It proves Lawrence is a free agent.
