Which Lineal WW Era had the best champions?

Which Era is the best, and who are you're top 5 H2H?

    80s
    Lloyd Honeyghan
    Jorge Vaca
    Marlon Starling
    Maurice Blocker
    Simon Brown
    vs
    90s
    Buddy Mcgirt
    Pernell Whitaker
    Oscar De la Hoya
    Felix Trinidad
    vs
    2000s
    Shane Mosley
    Vernon Forrest
    Ricardo Mayorga
    Corey Spinks
    Zab Judah
    Carlos Baldomir
    Floyd Mayweather

    EXTRA CREDIT - 10's/20s(NON LINEAL)
    Shawn Porter
    Lamont Peterson
    Marcos Maidana
    Manny Pacquiao
    Errol Spence
    Keith Thurman
    Terence Crawford
    Kell Brook

Gotta got with the 90s here, Felix Trinidad and Pernell Whitaker are just too overwhelmingly dominant in H2H matchups.

    My Top 5 H2H
    1. Felix Trinidad
    2. Pernell Whitaker
    3. Floyd Mayweather
    4. Marlon Starling
    5. Oscar De la Hoya

90’s easily. 4 Hall of Famers, 4 great fighters. When the weakest champion of your era was Buddy McGirt that says a lot.

Why are Leonard, Duran and Curry not on the 80’s list? Or is it 85 onwards?

Pernell and Marlon are good winnable close fights, while I think Felix beats WW Floyd

all 3 are hard to score

Beats Starling by decision. Starling makes him work for it but 7-5 or 8-4 type fight.

Mayweather vs Sweet Pea would be an ugly ass fight man. Neither liked to initiate. I see it being a contentious decision. Mayweather by SD.

Tito might have been too big. I find it difficult to make a case for Floyd against the Welterweight greats who started at Welterweight because of the size difference. I see no way he beats Leonard or Hearns for those reasons. But Tito did struggle with Oscars lateral movement. I’m gonna say Mayweather by SD again. Tough one to pick.
