That's a ridiculously light sentence for such a brutal crime. She supposedly bashed his head in with a baseball bat because he didn't show enough enthusiasm when he heard the news that she was pregnant. WTF?!!

Nice one mate, nice one. Never got to PR, but did spend some time in Brazil post military. If you ever make it down there copacabana and ipanema are life changing. Cidade Marvelosa on those two beaches is unlike anywhere else I have ever been and yes the women look like goddesses walking the earth.

I'm thinking it could have been the first strike. He should have run on 3rd strike.

I should've said one of the 19 strikes to his head, however I doubt it was the first. It probably took a couple at least to take him down and the once down she continued. He was 61 years old, we don't know how healthy he was, so maybe running wasn't an option. The thing is most people just don't have a baseball bat to hand during an argument, so she would've had to physically get the bat from somewhere in order to commit this act, unless she was already lying in wait.
