No one has avoided Crawford. He re signed with TR knowing it meant no good fights. He only left TR now and then took another huge deal to fight another easy bum now that his career is nearing the end.

Floyd broke away from TR in his prime to take a crappy deal to fight ODH because Bob wasnt willing to make the fight Floyd wanted.

Floyd made the most of the opportunity, selling that fight like no one before him. He signed autographs when odh wouldn’t. He did all kinds of promo in underserved media outlets- urban radio, urban social media- that exponentially grew his fanbase.

After ODH finally decided to fight him, he took on Hatton in a huge fight. Shane decided he no longer had a toothache to avoid him. He survived 2 of the best shots weve seen a man eat without going down.

When Manny got the fake stitches he took on Cotto in a really tough fight before doing his bid. Then finally Manny stepped up.

Bud Crawford doesn't have enough haters unlike Floyd, who got big because they wanna see him lose. Undefeated doesn't always mean draw, anyways.

Crawford might be more exciting than Mauweather at 147, but Crawford was actually a very boring fighter when he first started, with his UD’s.

Mayweather at 130lbs, went 27-0 with 21 KO’s and pretty much all 27 of those SFW fights were exciting.

You then add bonus fights like Gatti, Hatton, Maidana 2x, in terms of excitement and Crawford’s career doesn’t really come close to Mayweather’s.

To add to the above, you then have Mayweather taking risks vs the likes of Canelo, Corrales, DLH, Castillo.

Even Mayweather’s wins that are now underrated, but at the time, media and fans wanted these fights like Baldomir, Mosley, and Ortiz.

Just from top to bottom, a big no, Crawford’s 0 is nowhere near the same as Mayweather. Crawford’s 0 is a very hallow one. That’s why Crawford draws like a guy with 10 losses.
