Boxing Fans ...... Boxing Fans!!!!! What is going on here?????
I've noticed, as probally some of you have, that the Mayweather chatter is going through the roof of late. I mean, I thought during his retirement, it was bad ... but damn, its increased exponentially since he's come out of retirement and actually has a fight with JMM under his belt.

We have the so-called Haters of Mayweather - Who seem to be on a serious crusade to convert\out-debate those who are not in agreement with their theories. And they have become relentless with the newly concocted reasons, why Mayweather isn't this or isn't that.
And if you research their statements and threads .... they have all been done before. i.e. REDUNDANT!!!

We have Freddie Roach - Who is constantly talking about how easy today, difficult tomorrow a fight between his prize pupil Pac-Man, and Mayweather woule be. He's supposed to be preparing Manny to face the most dangerous WW out there in Cotto - But seems to always have something to say about Mayweather. This Mayweather habit has seemingly carried over to The PacMan, who is normally silent about those things.

We have Mosley - Who has finally gotten the message that Pac-Man doesn't think he's worth fighting and has now started stalking Mayweather 24/7. He's even stalking Mayweather while he's in negotiations for an upcoming fight with Champ Berto. Mosley is making almost daily appearances and quotes about how and why Mayweather won't fight him. Totally out of character.

Now don't get me wrong - Fans can rap about whatever they want to rap about ..... But DAMN!!!!! How many different ways can you say the same thing????
I think Mayweather is good for boxing and he brings alot of interest to the sport, in a time when its needed most. But, have some of us just become obsessed with the Top-Dogs of the sport only - what about the up and coming stars of tomorrow ???
There are soo many very good to excellent boxer's out there that little attention .. because soo many cannot kick the 24/7 Mayweather addiction.
Is this what being a boxing fan is all about???

I have Boxed most of my life and have been a hardcore boxing fan for over 25 years and have never witnessed anything like this.
