i have to say im surprised, but tank is known for saying stuff & then deleting it so who knows how it will turn out, also his ex mentor floyd i remember retired with a good fanfare of tears many years ago & that didnt last long, retirement talk usually comes up when the guy is under pressure & when things clear it goes away

If everything goes according to plan, the 28-year-old will then move into a showdown against Ryan Garcia.

No SHEEIT? It’s been quite apparent that you pick EASY OPPONENTS. Retire and go away already. Let the big boys play the real game.

I'm sensing this might be a sign of "Silk Pajama Syndrome". Could Tank be losing his fighting spirit at such a young age? This is the kind of talk that you hear from fighters in their mid to late 30's. I'm hoping he fights for many more years so that we can get a better assessment of how good he is. I enjoy watching his fights.

Sounds more to me like hes expecting to be found guilty. That will retire him quicker than any of our imaginary thought processes. Perhaps when he gets out he can fight an exhibition with mayweather for 50 million.

Bow-out without ever risking that 0, and never cracking the top 10 p4p. Par for the course for Davis. Cherry-picking b-level/past it Hispanic fighters in ppv mismatches will be his legacy.

Well, hopefully he makes the big matches happen then.

Go on a tear of all their names. Ryan, Devin, Shakur, Vasyl... then maybe a Teo fight at 140 or an undisputed match at 140?

Call it quits after that and be the new Aaron Pryor.
