The winner of the Pedraza vs Barboza Jr, fight would be a good step up in recent opponent's for Teofimo.
Who hasn't been setting the boxing world on fire as of late, he's definitely regressed, as far as his boxing skill's are concerned.
He'd have an even chance of possibly winning a fight against them, albeit the fact that he'd be hard pressed to get a win against either of the two.

Teo doesn't belong in the !40 title contention at all! How do you lose @ 135, and then become WBO #1 @ 140? Why is Subriel Matias only ranked in Top 15 by IBF, yet Gary Antuanne Russell is ranked by WBC, WBA, and IBF?

Prograis would be visiting Teo's hospital bed. Arum shouldn't make that fight unless he hates Lopez. Bob should suggest someone to add to their training team, but keep his father there for support. If Arum does this, the message might be respected, but if anyone else makes the suggestion, Teo and his father will probably be too arrogant and stubborn to listen. He's a talent that hasn't been fully developed, so with the right team he could definitely get better.

Teo is a proverbial mess, and as far as Matias is concerned, if and when he defeats Ponce.
He'll be elevated in the ranking's of the 140 pound division, and the top matches will become easier to make.

It's a good style match up. Prograis won't move as much as Martin. Should be a good fight. I would favor Prograis at this time.

Nah Teo would run in and get tagged. His boxing IQ ain't elite. And seeing that his power ain't as big moving up, he would get outclassed.

Lopez needs a big win but I don't think he gets it here. Some guys move up and look even better but it doesn't work for all ,sometimes they just loose their advantages and I think Lopez may be one of them.
