You act like Bivol isn’t a pfp fighter or anything. Bivol is an elite opponent.

      What’s your point?

This guy will never became endeared by the Mexican fanbase signed to whatever Sampson is SMH.. Sampson a middle man with absolutely no leverage in this business.. Benavidez should have been trying to get out of this deal and sign on with Oscar or sign directly to Alan Haymon SMH.. probably still putting that junk up his nose.

          Cut it out.

What Mexican has Alan made a star?

Oscar got ramirez, munguia and ortiz right now. None of them sell more tickets than David.

What Mungia, Ryan, and Zurdo all sell more tickets then Benavidez.. Vergil on a similar level to Benavidez as well.

            cut it out…

Alan hasn’t made any Mexican stars.. all of his Mexican stars were crafted & created by Oscar..

However, if you’re gonna be on the PBC side why not cut out the middle man and be signed directly to the bawse, very similar to the move Tank made.

Yeah right, which is the reason why Cinnabon is probably going to choose to fight Ryder next, so that he can face a higher level of competition. Hilarious, get your hands away from his zipper.

Benavidez was 20 when he fought Gavril, of course he struggled. Most boxers are fighting guys 0-12 when they are 20 years old.

Clearly you have no idea how to take situations into context. Back then that fight was considered a major step up and dangerous.

Canelo at that same age was almost getting KO'd by the unknown Cotto (not Miguel).

Sampson is a good dude, well respected, been in this business forever, and works with EVERYONE. Definitely no "wrong side of the street" nonsense with Sampsons fighters.......
Sampson did choose a side...as his entire stable appears to fight under the PBC banner. If that's what had to be done in order to survive and to get his fighters consistent dates, then so be it.

I see Sampson frequently with guys on Top Rank, or Golden Boy, or Frank Warren, or Matchroom shows. And I cant recall anyone ever saying they wont work with Sampson.....

I went to Sampson's website and looked at his roster, and every face that I could recognize is PBC-affliated. Fundora and Benavidez are getting high on the pecking order, Michel Rivera is having a nice step-up fight this weekend against Frank Martin. Javier Fortuna did just fight Ryan Garcia on DAZN in an eliminator, and could become a reliable gatekeeper. Jeison Rosario has been a PBC mainstay since he beat JRock, but seems to be declining. De Los Santos recently gave 'El Rayo' Valenzuela a beat-down on the Ruiz/Ortiz undercard. Juan Montiel and Jorge Cota are PBC's resident journeymen.

One thing that would demonstrate Sampson's independence from PBC...is to let Canelo/Benavidez happen on DAZN, assuming they're willing to pay more than SHO is.
