What do you think of Mickey? He is the only Hollywood actor to have turned pro boxer AFTER he became a star, which is pretty remarkable. The very decision was very unorthodox. He could have gone on earning money by starring in cheap movies, but he wanted to do something he burned for. And he knew he could get seriously hurt. Even the worst boxer can injure you if you are not careful. Anything can happen, a head clash can lead to coma. And in the end it cost him his face, his very livelihood.
And he still came back to acting and got a second start. You gotta admire that. I always admired the heck outa him. Altho I don't like his political views, but I never let that stop me from liking someone. At least not someone I have liked for a long time.
